Omg... I have already read this twice.This is an amazing RH storyline with the wonderful twist of crossed/blended timelines that only the fae can do with the magic of their extended/immortal lives.I love how the FMC is an erotic romance bookworm, so different from most FMC in RH. She is strong-minded and well-read allowing for them to find their way through the choking landmines of a geas that challenges communications. I love the author's skill in pulling hints from this mythos and that mythos to speak between the lines.I love that this generation of the RH and the FMC are all about the RH. There is no hemming and hawing over should I or shouldn't I acknowledge the desires for all involved.The smut portions are enough to keep most panting for more without overwhelming the book and losing sight of the plot.The cliffhanger was a gentle one. Enough to make you want the next book without making you want to yell at the author for leaving you hanging hard.I am anxiously waiting for the next book. Lured begins with Meghan (our FMC who'd rather be reading her romance book, same) being asked to deliver something to a club that she and her cousins have never been allowed to visit. From there, she's sucked into a whirlwind of experiences and situations straight out of some of her books. Which was one aspect of this book I loved, Meghan is able to view what's happening through the lens of the stories she's read to uncover what's happening when she cannot be told specifics. If I was suddenly dropped into a paranormal world, I absolutely would be rehashing all the things I'd read. She also has some absolutely hilarious thoughts about what happens in books vs. what's happening in her life at the time. This is single POV and we experience the same degree of piecing parts together as Meghan.The Puck brothers are just the kind of love interests I love myself with the level of intensity and focus they place on Meghan. There are reincarnation themes here, which is part of what Meghan has to work out and cannot be told, but these guys have been in love with her for a looooooong time. I felt like we got to know each of the brothers (there's quite a mix of personalities here). One of the brothers is more reserved and I'm hoping we see more connection with him in book 2. Another brother has a background of connection with Meghan and we get a bit of steam with him, but I'm also hoping for more emotional connection with him in book 2, because I felt like his powers made that a bit hard in this one. And ohhhhh the steam between her and the guys, whew!I'm not usually a fan of reincarnation in books, but I enjoyed Lured and I thought the memories returning to her were incorporated well. Ms. Hall does a great job of adding potential trigger warnings to the front of each of her books and there is a trigger warning for potential feelings of cheating due to what happened in the past amongst this group (not from outside their core group, a friend asked me about that and I think it may matter to others). But she makes it clear that there is no cheating or potential for future cheating in their current lives.The bad guys are hinted at (another part Meghan had to sort out) and briefly introduced, but they're powerful and definitely evil. Based on the ending, which is not end on a cliffhanger, just unresolved plot points, we'll be getting more of what's happening there and how to address it in book 2. If you like FMCs who get dropped unexpectedly into the midst of the paranormal world and are obsessed over by their guys, I think Lured is one to check out.
