I am utterly speechless! Wow! The darkness, the raw emotions, I am just in awe at the depth of emotion that Tillie brings out in her writing!The originality of her plots is mind blowing and I have to say these books are not for the faint of heart! This book is dark, it’s brutal but it’s brilliant! I am new to Cole, very new and I jumped into these books knowing that things can take a turn when and where you least expect it. You have to know what you’re getting and what you’re getting is beyond anything I could ever imagine. I absolutely loved Diel all his darkness and demons. Darkness needs a light and Noa is that light! Don’t be fooled though she had demons of her own and she’s a spitfire but she calms the demon inside Diel and together they are explosive!I loved the story and I can not wait to see how it all plays out! Again I’m new to this world and I was quickly sucked in. You must read all books before to know and appreciate these group of fallen! So I know this is supposed to be read in order, and this is supposed to be read after Genesis and Raphael. But when given the chance to read Jegudiel, I jumped at the chance, knowing I only had a minimal background (I know, I’m a bad girl!). But I couldn’t resist!! I’ve wanted to read this so badly. And I’m glad I did!! It’s all kinds of intense and brutal, haunting, soul-searing and gut wrenching. And I’m here for all of it. Jegudiel & his monster are in a constant battle for control. In the midst of that, the Fallen come across another group like them, the Coven. Amongst them is a pink haired firebrand named Noa. Not only can she hold her own (and then some) but she also connects with Jegudiel and his monster. This book had so many facets to it that you get completely lost in their world. I completely loved it!! And I cannot wait for the next one!!!
